Description

The Legend™ Cone design is the result of many years of refining the process of hand-spinning cones. Spun from a specific aluminum alloy, the shape has been modified from a traditional style cone to produce a clear bell-like tone and lower resonant frequency. The triple spun process and highly polished finish improve response and sustain. Like all Beard cones, the cone is personally spun by hand in Hagerstown MD to exacting standards.

Vesper: A micro-thin Ceramic Polymer that is applied to the top surface of the aluminum to protect the cone from the oxidation process. This is not paint or powder coat, the special application process ensures superior adheasion with the thinnest coating possible. As a result of creating a longer lasting cone, we also discovered new increased sonic attributes. The sustain of the legend cone, with a more pronounced high end.
